When you use the two-way communication feature, your voice only goes to the camera that is currently selected. It is absolutely brilliant. I would highly recommend it. The image is clear even when the light is dim, the battery lasts long enough. When the camera is on I can use it 2 consecutive days with no charge. I normally use it only at night for 3-4 hours when the baby is asleep. This gives me an opportunity to spend some time with my husband not worrying that I would not hear the baby. In the early days we used the built in lullaby feature but you have to turn the volume down quite low because it obviously transfers over the monitor.You can choose one of the five pre-recorded lullabies to play music individually through each camera. There is also a talk option if you want to speak (or sing) to your baby with the two-way talk function. You just need to press and hold the microphone button while talking to the monitor to activate it, just like a walkie-talkie. The sound only goes to the camera that is currently selected, so don’t risk waking up your child in the other room.
